'Unprecedented Level of Animus!' Strzok Gets His Smackdown for Anti-Trump Bias

Numerous media's seasoned political analysts professed to hear nothing new inFBI agent Peter Strzok's congressional testimony Thursday.

Representative Louie Gohmert went so far as to call out Strzok over his affair with Page, while other House Republicans, including Trey Gowdy, Jim Jordan and Bob Goodlatte, chastised him over what they believed was bias toward Trump during the investigations of Hillary Clinton's private email server and the Trump campaign's alleged contacts with Russian Federation during the 2016 campaign. Strzok, a seasoned counterintelligence agent, helped lead both investigations but has since been reassigned to human resources.

Special Counsel Robert Mueller on Friday indicted 12 Russian intelligence officers for engaging in "large-scale cyber operations to interfere with the 2016 US presidential election".

Gohmert said he was incensed at Strzok and thought he was knowingly lying to lawmakers, which in turn steered his questioning of Strzok toward his personal life.

"The credibility of a witness is always an issue", Gohmert said, as the committee fell into momentary chaos. It is true that the embarrassing and completely inappropriate text messages he exchanged with his Federal Bureau of Investigation paramour, attorney Lisa Page, have already been publicly dissected.

Serena Williams surprised with Wimbledon semi-final appearance
As the seven-time champion Williams overpowered the Russian Evgeniya Rodina 6-2, 6-2, the price of excellence was not lost on her. Williams took the set in convincing fashion, 6-3, and yelled her trademark "Come on!" as she clinched the final point.

"I have the utmost respect for Congress's oversight role, but I truly believe that today's hearing is just another victory notch in Putin's belt and another milestone in our enemies' campaign to tear America apart", Strzok said.

House Democrats accused Republicans of using Strzok to undermine special counsel Robert S. Mueller III's investigation.

Strzok said he could not answer a question about the early stages of the FBI investigation into Russian intervention because the probe is still ongoing and FBI counsel had instructed him not to. "As someone who loves this country and cherishes its ideals, it is profoundly painful to watch and even worse to play a part in".

"He [Strzok] was told by the intelligence community inspector general's investigator Frank Rutger that they had found an anomaly in the emails going to and from Hillary Clinton's unauthorized private server", Gohmert explained.

It is point that has been largely brushed aside in Trump-friendly media circles, with a text Strzok sent to Page in May 2017 also receiving comparatively little scrutiny. However, what he tweeted early this morning, might just take the cake for the most freakish comment he has made recently. Strzok's lawyer has said he was escorted from the Federal Bureau of Investigation building last month as the disciplinary process winds its way through the system.
