Xiaomi Mi Max 3 revealed ahead of official announcement

The latest Android One smartphones from the company, Mi A2 and its smaller variant were confirmed for the Spain event via a tweet on Tuesday.

Xiaomi's much anticipated Android One handset, the Mi A2, is expected to be launched soon. Just like other Android One smartphones, the Mi A2 smartphones should also get two major Android updates (Android P and Android O). "Like most new Xiaomi devices, the Mi 6X has a 5.99" Full HD+ 18:9 display and it runs on a Snapdragon 660 Octa-Core processor with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. Unlike the Mi 6X, the Mi A2 will be Android One device coming with stock Android UI. While there is no confirmation about the product, all the leaks and rumors point out towards the Mi A2 smartphone.

Along with the Mi Max 3, there will also be a higher-end variant of Mi Max 3 which is dubbed as Mi Max 3 Pro. For connectivity, the Mi A2 smartphone is likely to offer 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Mi A2 Lite

This is a model with more modest characteristics, very similar to the Mi A1, which should arrive with a renewed look and a price more in the account. The device will run on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box and is reported to feature a smaller 5.84-inch full HD+ 2.5D curved glass display with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:9.

The Mi A2 Lite sports a vertical dual rear camera setup with a 12MP primary sensor and a 5MP secondary sensor with AI Portrait mode and AI Beauty feature.

Xiaomi's Mi Max series is focused on providing a bigger screen and battery. The dual camera is expected to be 12 MP + 20 MP and will have a lot of memory options - 3/4/6 GB RAM and 32/64/128 GB storage.
