To celebrate the occasion, developer Epic Games is hosting a limited time in-game event starting on July 24th which will give every player a chance to complete birthday challenges to unlock free cosmetic items.

As hard as it may be to believe, Fortnite is about to celebrate its one-year anniversary, or in a more cutesy manner, its first birthday!

Challenges include playing matches, dealing damage to opponents and even dancing in front of birthday cakes in the game.

The glitch was only recently discovered today, so it's likely that Epic Games won't be able to fix it for a good while, unless they think it's amusing enough that it would be better to just leave it in. But it's not just a little birthday bash that Epic is hosting for the first Fortnite Birthday Celebration, as there are presents for everyone, providing you complete a selection of Fortnite Birthday Challenges of course! The range of products should start releasing in late 2018, and it doesn't look like Fortnite's going anywhere before then. From the birthday Battle Bus to the sploder husks carrying a tasty surprise, we can't wait to party with you!

Israeli Soldier Murdered By Palestinian Terrorist
The flare-up is the latest as demonstrations and clashes on the frontier since March have seen at least 149 Palestinians killed. The army said around 60 targets were hit, including three Hamas brigade headquarters in Zeitoun, Khan Younis and al-Bureij.

July 24th is #Fortnite1st Birthday!

For players opting to try out Save the World, all players will have to do is complete the Fortnite Birthday quest line and they'll get the new Birthday Brigade Ramirez hero for their time.

Saturday, July 21st will see another day full of competitive Fortnite action as another 500k tournament with a different set of players will be taking place at 1 PM ET to continue Week 2 of the Summer Skirmish Series by Epic Games.

Fortnite has generated more than $1 billion of income from in-game purchases alone.
