Jose Mourinho heavily criticizes Manchester United after pre-season loss

Negativity seems to be growing amongst the United supporters and with Jose Mourinho doing nothing to please the fans with his comments about the youth players.

"I'm confident I'll get one".

"It's our nature, you always want more for your team, but then club decisions are different and normally you don't get what you want, which happened during all my career".

The 55-year-old manager took a dig at the transfer board as well as his players' performances in MI on Saturday and stated in a press conference, "The atmosphere was good but if I was them I wouldn't have come, I wouldn't have spent my money to watch these two teams".

The Red Devils boss is targeting Leicester's Harry Maguire, as well as Inter Milan's Ivan Perisic and Chelsea's Willian.

"We basically have the same players".

United's squad will be strengthened when Paul Pogba, Romelu Lukaku, Ashley Young and Jesse Lingard, among others, return from their post-World Cup holidays but Mourinho is anxious to recruit further and presented Woodward with a list of five names "a few months ago".

Zimbabweans vote in first election since Mugabe's removal
Elmar Brok, the EU's chief observer, said many voters, particularly young women, left voting queues in frustration at long delays. Mnangagwa urged Zimbabweans to be peaceful, tweeting: "We are one people, with one dream and one destiny".

Asked if he will know his best starting line-up, even if he is only able to bring one more new face in, Mourinho, speaking to Be:In Sport, said: "More or less, I know". He has looked too cautious at times, and has been very hesitant to go into tackles.

"We're not playing here to improve the team or the dynamic, we're playing here to just survive and have some not very ugly results".

Mourinho had been banking on starting the Premier League season with a back four of Valencia, Shaw, Bailly and Smalling, but all are now injured or carrying knocks, throwing his preparations into disarray ahead of the home game against Leicester on August 10.

United did finish second last season, but it is safe to say that their performance was underwhelming for a side who finished as a runner-up.

Mourinho was also eager to praise the change to the transfer window dates, which will now close before the start of the Premier League season.

Mourinho's increasingly erratic behaviour has unsettled some members of his squad, with sources revealing they feel they are treading on egg shells less than two weeks before the start of the Premier League campaign.

What I don't agree with is that the Premier League starts now.
