Hundreds report illnesses after eating at Ohio Chipotle

Reports of food poisoning led a Chipotle restaurant near Columbus, Ohio, to close entirely on Monday.

State investigators seem to be treating the outbreak as "a single restaurant issue", Chapman said. As of Tuesday afternoon, it said it had received 368 inquiries related to a "possible foodborne illness outbreak" stemming from the Chipotle location in Powell. Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc has shut a restaurant in OH following reports of customers falling sick after eating there, Business Insider reported on Monday.

Chipotle has closed the restaurant amid an investigation. Chipotle Mexican Grill's new CEO, Brian Niccol, made the announcement in a conference call with investors, according to a previous Epoch Times report.
