The French forward wants to leave Manchester United this summer, hoping to find a club where he can play more regular football.

The 22-year-olds contract is set to expire in 12 months time, but crucially it includes a clause that can see the club extend it for a further year, keeping him at the club until 2020.

The Red Devils boss is prepared to offer Anthony Martial to Los Blancos in a blockbuster swap deal to get them to make a switch to Old Trafford.

Jose Mourinho says Alexis Sanchez has to play against San Jose Earthquakes on Sunday as the Manchester United manager grapples with his limited attacking options in the build-up to the new Premier League season. His patchy club form cost him at global level and he was omitted from the France squad that ultimately won the World Cup.

'After thinking about all the possibilities and scenarios, Anthony wants to leave Manchester United, ' representative Philippe Lamboley told RMC.

Higuain accepts Milan move with Bonucci to return to Juventus
Juventus are looking to offload last season's top scorer following the €100m arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid . Juve's striker is also wanted by AC Milan , but they also are interested in Alvaro Morata who is also keen on a move.

"Also, he's defensively poor - especially in a (Jose) Mourinho team where he likes his wide players to do a job". Everyone will have their opinion but I think he needs to resume his career.

Manchester United, buoyed by the arrival of Alexis Sanchez on Sunday, nevertheless remained without a win in their North American pre-season tour after a 0-0 draw against the San Jose Earthquakes.

"Some are from our from our first team, some are Under-23, some are from loans and going on loans, some are the Under-18s We don't have a team to play much better than we did but it's one more training session". 'You can not do whatever you want in life. "Players like Anthony, like Marcus Rashford, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, Alexis Sanchez - they are all wonderful players who can change games", the 28-year-old Spaniard was quoted as saying.

Martial joined United from Monaco in 2015 for an initial fee of £36 million (S$64.4m).

"Valencia, Smalling, [Eric] Bailly and [Luke] Shaw, they are probably the ones to start the season", Mourinho added.
