Tate, whose 1969 death at the hands of the Manson family - headed by cult leader Charles Manson - serves as a backdrop for Tarantino's upcoming entertainment industry tale. She has long blonde hair worn in a similar style to Tate, with a black turtleneck, white miniskirt, and white go-go boots. The two lead characters are Rick Dalton (DiCaprio), former star of a western TV series, and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Pitt). "It's always been a bucket list thing for me to work on a Tarantino film so I'm obviously ridiculously excited and grateful", she said. Quentin has also spoken about the project, explaining: "I've been working on this script for five years, as well as living in Los Angeles County most of my life, including in 1969, when I was seven years old". An official look of Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt costume was released before filming commenced.

What's different about Robbie's role in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is that, apart from the 1960s clothes and the American accent she'll show off later, it doesn't appear that the actress had to do much transforming to capture Tate's essence.

"Both are struggling to make it in a Hollywood they don't recognise anymore".

The film will be released in the United Kingdom on 26 July 2019, created to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the Manson-LaBianca murders and Tate's death.

Along with aforementioned actors, the movie also stars Al Pacino, Dakota Fanning, James Marsden, Kurt Russell, Timothy Olyphant, Damian Lewis, Burt Reynolds, Clifton Collins Jr, Emile Hirsch, Tim Roth, and Luke Perry. However, Sharon Tate was famously one of the victims of the murders.
