Showtime president and CEO David Nevins announced the news at the TCA summer press tour on Monday.

Its title comes from a comment Fox News host Laura Ingraham made to James in February when she sought to rebuke him for talking politics during an interview.

The three-part series will track the NBA's growth and history, beginning with the 1976 NBA-ABA merger. March also saw a pointed reference to Ingraham at the Academy Awards, when Bryant won a best animated short film Oscar for "Dear Basketball" and sarcastically told the audience, "As basketball players, we're really supposed to just shut up and dribble".

"Unlike this president who lashes out wildly at anyone who criticizes him, LeBron James - in addition to being a brilliant black man, a superstar in his sport, and a hero to his community - is taking the high road, which is exactly where he belongs", he added.

"Look, there might be a cautionary lesson in LeBron for kids", Ingraham said at the time on her show.

While Mr. James has not yet responded to Mr. Trump's insult, other National Basketball Association players came out in support of him, including Stephen Curry, Bradley Beal and Donovan Mitchell, CBS News reported.
