Team India all set to take on host England in the 2nd Test at Lord's.

It proved beyond the tourists, despite Kohli making 51 to follow his first-innings 149 - the star batsman's maiden Test century on English soil. In Indian side, except skipper Virat Kohli, top order is the issue of concern.

"Ben Stokes is unavailable, but Chris Woakes, with some extra matches and practices under his belt, can now return to the England squad after injury". "He's very mature for a young man", said Root.

20-year-old Ollie Pope has the highest average in the 2018 County Championship of anyone to record more than two innings (85.5 across 10 knocks); he replaces Dawid Malan who has only managed an average of 19.9 over the 11 Test innings he recorded in 2018.

Dirty business: Mike Atherton was the first cricketer to be caught tampering with the ball when he rubbed dirt on it during a Test match against South Africa at Lord's in 1994. Stokes, who picked up four wickets during India's second innings, is trying to clear his name in court after being charged with affray following a brawl in September 2017, while Malan has been dropped due to poor performance.

So, in the second test, the Indian team management may make a few changes in the batting department, bringing in experienced batsman Cheteshwar Pujara in place of Lokesh Rahul, who scored 4 and 13 runs respectively in both the innings.

What Caused the Massive Magnitude-7 Indonesian Earthquake?
The death toll is expected to rise, with one official telling reporters that 80 per cent of north Lombok has suffered damage. Lombok's airport has reopened and has significantly increased the amount of flights coming in and out from the island.

They also have the option of playing a second-spinner, be it orthodox left-armer Ravindra Jadeja or left-arm wrist-spinner Kuldeep Yadav, with all-rounder Hardik Pandya the man most likely to miss out if either slow bowler is selected. So we'll turn up tomorrow, see if it looks any different, and then make that decision, he added.

"It's a good choice, a tough one too", Bharat Arun, India's bowling coach, told reporters at Lord's.

Meanwhile, Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of the Test match and that could mean an unchanged Indian seam attack.

Kohli & Root- The two skippers are going to be the most important batsmen and even in fantasy cricket, they need to fit in all teams.

Kohli added: "I definitely leave no stone unturned when it comes to getting in there, talking to the guys wherever I can from the strategy point of view as well".

'But it's about backing it up now, looking for consistency in back-to-back games, and this is an opportunity to do that'.
