"Many patients here have broken bones and we handle it as much as possible because the hospital is damaged, impossible to do surgery and treat patients with severe injuries", she said.

Meanwhile, the evacuation of tourists from the Gili Islands - three tiny, coral-fringed tropical islands off the northwest coast of Lombok - has finished, officials said. In other places it dropped by 5-15 centimetres (2-6 inches).

"We hope this disaster will pass soon, so people can recover and resume to their activities", Larry added.

Almost 1500 people have been hospitalised with serious injuries from Sunday's quake and more than 156,000 have been displaced due to the extensive damage to thousands of homes.

Officials said the quake's epicentre was on land and so there was no risk of a tsunami. The governor of West Nusa Tenggara province, which includes Lombok, has extended the official emergency period by two weeks to August 25.

Wiranto, Indonesia's top security minister, told reporters the death toll from Sunday's magnitude 7.0 quake had risen to 319.

South Korean news agency Yonhap reported 42,239 buildings had either collapsed or been badly damaged, and 156,000 people are without shelter.

The loophole allowing clubs to bring in new players all stems from the fact that there are different transfer windows for loan deals.

The quake was the second in a week to hit Lombok.

In Tanjung, one of the worst affected districts in the hard-hit north of the island, a food market opened Saturday and locals bought vegetables and fish. "Several buildings were further damaged".

"When the quake happened, I took my kid and ran", she said. "If I just stay at the camp and don't come here to sell then I don't have money to buy rice".

The aftershock comes after Sunday's devastating 6.9-magnitude quake, which relief agencies said had wiped out entire villages in the worst-hit regions of northern and western Lombok.

Indonesia's geological agency said the quake on Thursday afternoon had a magnitude of 6.2 and was shallow, at a depth of 12 kilometres (seven and a half miles), centred in the north west of the island.

Sunarto, who uses one name, said hearing the call to prayer and being observant will help villagers rebuild from the disaster.

A humanitarian crisis looms in Lombok, which was rocked by another deadly quake last month that killed 17 people, with thousands of victims of Sunday's disaster in desperate need of clean water, food, medicine and shelter, aid agencies say.
