Manigault Newman provided audio to NBC, which aired portions of her recording during an interview on "Meet the Press" and posted more online.

'Manigault Newman claims Trump wanted to use his own business book at the swearing-in ceremony rather than the bible.

At an event on August 11 President Donald Trump told reporters "She's a lowlife", when asked about Newman, who first rose to prominence on "The Apprentice" series.

Manigault told NBC host Chuck Todd that she took that as a threat.

"I think it's important to understand that if we make this a friendly departure, we can all be-you know, you can look at your time here in the White House as a year of service to the nation", Kelly continued.

The standoff ended without any clashes as organizers urged the crowd to move away and begin marching off campus. But his reactions to last year's events - and aspects of his conduct in the year since them - loom large.

President Donald Trump greets cheering members of Bikers for Trump and supporters, Saturday, Aug. 11, 2018, at the clubhouse of Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J. Since leaving the White House in December, she has penned a book, which she is now promoting. It added that she blatantly ignored security procedures by taping Kelly in the Situation Room, a location in the basement of the West Wing, where highly-sensitive conversations take place. She also described him as a man who "loved conflict, chaos and confusion; he loved seeing people argue or fight".

She was reportedly fired by White House chief of staff John Kelly for abusing her position and had to be physically removed from the premises.

"The first time I ever heard Omarosa suggest those terrible things about this president are in this book", she said, noting Manigault Newman "is somebody who gave a glowing appraisal of Donald Trump, the businessman, the star of the The Apprentice, the candidate and, indeed, the president of the United States".

Another claim, one that may give life to meme creators is that she walked in on the President eating a crumpled up piece of paper after a meeting with his then personal lawyer, and now federal witness, Michael Cohen. "Once I heard it for myself it confirmed what I feared the most, that Donald Trump is a con and has been masquerading as someone who is actually open to engaging with diverse communities".

Manigault Newman: "I don't want to negotiate". "I had a blind spot where it came to Donald Trump". "That's downright criminal", she claimed. In his bid to bring order to a fractious West Wing, Kelly had earlier imposed stricter rules about who had access to the President, a move that senior officials said limited Manigault Newman's time in the Oval Office.
