Manigault Newman is releasing a book next week containing an "explosive" account of her brief tenure in the Trump administration and detailing her reasons for heading for the exit.

According to the Guardian website, which says it obtained a copy of Manigault Newman's memoir prior to its August 14 publication date, the former Apprentice contestant and later White House communications staffer writes in Unhinged that while she did not personally hear Trump use the N-word she cites three sources who described the contents of the tape.

Omarosa Manigault Newman writes in her incendiary new book "Unhinged" that Trump was caught on mic uttering the racial slur "multiple times" during the making of his hit show "The Apprentice" prior to his presidential run, and that there are tapes to prove it.

Incredibly, this person - who shall remain nameless - picked up the phone.

During production he was miked, and there is definitely an audio track. Trump said during one exchange, according to the book. And only now that it's gone, do I realize just how heavy it's been. "My certainty about the N-word tape and his frequent uses of that word were the top of a high mountain of truly appalling things I'd experienced with him, during the last two years in particular".

According to the Times, Omarosa continues: "Three sources in three separate conversations had described the contents of this tape". Actor Tom Arnold has also claimed to have a video of Mr Trump saying "every offensive, racist thing ever".

'Using the N-word was not just the way he talks but, more disturbing, it was how he thought of me and African Americans as a whole'.

She writes, "I would look like the biggest imbecile alive for supporting a man who used that word".

Omarosa Manigault in the White House briefing room. "It's sad that a disgruntled former White House employee is trying to profit off these false attacks, and even worse that the media would now give her a platform".

She also claims Trump used racial slurs to describe George Conway, the husband of White House adviser Kellyanne Conway who is half Filipino.

White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders told reporters here in New Jersey, where Trump is on vacation, that the book is "riddled with lies and false accusations".

George Conway - an outspoken Trump critic - branded the claims Trump made racist remarks about him "not credible", "ridiculous" and "absurd" on Friday.

Manigault Newman appeared on the show's first season and returned twice more before joining the Trump in Washington as director of communications for the White House office of public liaison.
