As Yahoo! pointed out, receiving money for an appearance could have posed serious ethical concerns for the former White House official, however, Omarosa filmed her segment of Say Yes before Trump's January 2017 inauguration.

But certain audio clips Manigault Newman released were definitively from 2016, including a tape where Trump campaign aides are heard discussing how to address a recording in which Trump is heard saying the N-word.

Omarosa Manigault Newman likes to be noticed and that she did during an August 13 appearance on The Today Show, albeit for all the wrong reasons.

Ms Maingault is now promoting a book called Unhinged - which Ms Manigault-Newman claims will "blow the whistle" on alleged corruption within the Trump administration.

Melania Trump does not make fashion faux pas, she uses clothes to punish her husband, Donald, according to Omarosa Manigault Newman.

That revelation sparked a stream of presidential invective on Twitter.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Friday said Omarosa Manigault's new memoir is "riddled with lies".

The tape recording appears to show Trump expressing surprise about her firing, saying "nobody even told me about it".

Ms Manigault-Newman rose to fame as a contestant on reality TV show "The Apprentice" in 2004. If a new recording released by Omarosa Manigault Newman is authentic, at the very least some of his aides spitballed a spin strategy if one ever emerged.

PROMISE KEPT: President Trump Signs Military Defense Bill, BOOSTS SOLDIERS Pay
Trump's signature marks the first on-time passage of the NDAA in 22 years with the start of the 2019 fiscal year on October 1. Prior to the ceremony Trump watched an air assault demonstration by USA troops at Fort Drum.

"Omarosa? Omarosa, what's going on?"

On Tuesday, she explained to CBS News why she made the recordings: "I'm the kind of person who covers her own back". After only a few questions, she says, "Savannah, slow down".

"You know they run a big operation, but I didn't know it", he says, adding: "I didn't know that". "Do you got some?"

The book's publisher, Gallery Books, a division of Simon & Schuster, said in a statement they are "confident that Omarosa Manigault Newman can substantiate her highly-anticipated account of life inside the Trump White House". He said Kelly had called her a "loser & nothing but problems", but he himself had tried to save her job - because he liked her public comments about him. She was vicious, but not smart.

"Donald J. Trump for President, Inc. has filed an arbitration against Manigault-Newman with the American Arbitration Association in New York City, for breach of her 2016 confidentiality agreement with the Trump Campaign. Nasty to people & would constantly miss meetings & work". "I'm so torn on whether to believe this story". He said Manigault Newman had called him "a true Champion of Civil Rights" until she was sacked.

Manigault Newman also accused Trump of using racial slurs against George Conway, who is half Filipino.

Trump has vehmently denied using the racist slur, tweeting: '.(Apprentice producer) @MarkBurnettTV called to say that there are NO TAPES of the Apprentice where I used such a awful and disgusting word as attributed by Wacky and Deranged Omarosa.

Trump has denied that such a recording exists, and that such as word is even "in my vocabulary".
