Nick Jonas & Priyanka Chopra Officially Announce Engagement!

Nick's parents, Denise and Kevin Jonas, are in Mumbai for the festivities - it's not clear who else is included in the ladkewale. The first pictures from the engagement ceremony of "Nickyanka" are here and it all looks like a fairytale. Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas were all smiles at their roka ceremony. He came in June when he met Priyanka's mother Madhu and some extended family members, including cousin and actress Parineeti Chopra when they went to Goa for a sojourn.

The couple will reportedly be throwing a party for their friends and family at her residence tonight to celebrate their engagement.

Jonas reached Mumbai on Thursday night along with his parents. That's right, the power duo who had gotten engaged during Priyanka's birthday earlier this year have flipped the finger to naysayers and again, with a sweeping declaration of their love.

The singer's final public performance was last November, when she sang at an Elton John AIDS Foundation gala in NY . Her relatives said they had "lost the matriarch and rock" of their family in a statement issued via her publicist.

The relationship of Priyanka Chopra with Nick Jonas has been the fodder of gossip for quite some time. However, the former Miss World has been making strides to keep the rock hidden. Dressed in a bright yellow suit, Priyanka looked radiant as she got photographed with Nick who looked debonair in the traditional Indian attire. She forayed into the global showbiz world with a singing career, and eventually landed the lead role in American TV show "Quantico". She made her Hollywood debut with "Baywatch", followed by "A Kid Like Jake". She was also seen cheering for him at one of his concerts. During his stint in India, Nick also attended the pre-engagement bash of Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta. "Nick's family has also flown down for the same and Priyanka's family is hosting them".

This is Nick's second visit to India in the last two months.
