Mauricio Pochettino insists he will not take risks with Harry Kane's fitness as Tottenham eye another top-four assault in the Premier League.

Laboured displays in the quarter-final win over Sweden and semi-final loss to Croatia were followed by a goalless outing in Spurs' 2-1 win at Newcastle United last weekend - Kane completing 90 minutes only five days after returning to training with his club. If we are conscious that we would be taking a risk, be sure he is not going to play.

"We will try - we believe it's our best way to be successful and this season, if you believe now a better way for us is to give Spurs the ball and wait for them on the edge of the box and try finish the game 0-0, I am not sure this is best plan for us".

"We have our own truths about what we see and how we manage", he said. Of course, I understand the problems about the tickets, the money and everything, and I feel sorry for [the fans].

"We need to be all together".

More compelling insight is sure to come from the documentary series as it covers the title win but also crushing defeats to United and Liverpool.

"So I think they will have another good season under a quality coach". Some players maybe want to move but don't have an offer. I don't want anyone upset or unhappy, or with negative feelings here.

Here are three possible ways Fulham could line up at Wembley, as the club seeks their first league points of the season. "All people here need to feel they can be part of the team, and help the team any time the manager commands".

Pochettino and Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy have been coming under fire as of late for failing to sign a single player during the summer transfer window.

"We're a bit disappointed about Josh because he was injured in the summer and could not play one game or train with the first team through the whole preseason", Pochettino said. "I'm going to decide if he's a player who can stay with us or maybe, if we believe he can play more, we'll find some alternative for him to play more than last season, to try for him to be more involved than he was at Aston Villa".
