Manchester United conceded three first-half goals as they slumped to a 3-2 defeat at Brighton in a game illuminated by a superb goal from Seagulls striker Glenn Murray.

"I am not going to speak about the market", he said.

"Maybe we didn't have the attitude to break them, to kill them when we had to kill them and to go through the lines".

The loss came on the back of a troubled summer, with Mourinho frustrated by the United hierarchy's failure to make signings before the transfer deadline and the Portuguese's warning that a "difficult season" could lie ahead. Pogba scored a stoppage time penalty but the final 3-2 scoreline was flattering on United who were thoroughly beaten by the south coast side. "We were always punished for every mistake we made".

Romelu Lukaku briefly brought United back into the game at 2-1.

United lie in 10th place after the first two rounds of Premier League action, having accrued three points so far.

The Chilean worldwide wasn't spotted among the players that travelled down to the South Coast on Saturday afternoon and he wasn't included in the 18-man squad that was announced an hour before kick-off.

Thousands Beg for Rescue in Deadly Indian Floods
PM has directed National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to fix main national highways damaged due to floods on priority. Modi announced an assistance of Rs 500 crore to the state, in addition to the Rs 100 crore already provided.

And he claimed the backlash he received for doing so means he won´t speak his mind so freely despite his third season in charge ominously getting off to a bad start like it did at Real Madrid and his second season at Chelsea.

"Myself first, should have done much better, less mistakes, control more the game".

"I think you can have a fantastic movie, respecting others".

After the victory over Leicester, Pogba said he couldn't say how he truly felt for fear of being fined, but that "if you're not happy, you cannot give your best".

Brighton deserve credit for a solid performance against a big side and for making the most of their chances, but there are serious issues within the United squad at the moment.

Sanchez is under contract at Old Trafford until 2022. It was very disappointing, we tried to push.

Shaw scored what turned out to be the victor in a 2-1 victory over Leicester but had a tougher time as the Red Devils were defeated 3-2 to Brighton at Falmer Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
