The Self Care rapper, real name Malcolm James McCormick, was found unresponsive at his San Fernando Valley, Calif., home, and was pronounced dead at the scene by authorities.

Ariana Grande just shared a touching tribute to Mac Miller in the wake of his tragic death, posting a black and white photo of the rapper with no caption.

Fighting through the amount of backlash from social media and news outlets alike, Grande has broken her silence since her friend has passed. "He was a bright light in this world for his family, friends and fans. There are no further details as to the cause of his death at this time". She explained that she's not a babysitter and the relationship was very hard due to the ups and downs of Mac's addictions.

She guest-starred on his 2016 album "The Divine Feminine", and a year later Miller - sporting his signature baseball cap above his tattooed neck - welcomed Grande on the airport tarmac when she returned to the United States following the deadly attack on her concert in Manchester. "Mac's death is a devastating loss and cuts short a life and a talent of huge potential, where the possibilities felt limitless".

Shortly after they parted ways, Grande responded to a fan on Twitter who criticised her for dumping him and said their relationship had been "toxic". He told reporters: "I wrote that love song before I saw her".

KIM COMMITS: North Korean Leader Says He's 'UNEQUIVOCALLY COMMITTED' to Denuclearization
Trump canceled Pompeo's fourth visit to North Korea , citing a lack of sufficient progress on denuclearization. He said the USA will continue to work with North Korea to "deliver for the world" in upholding U.N.

Ed Sheeran posted a photo of himself and Mac on his Instagram account where he spoke about his memories of the rapper.

Miller has struggled with substance abuse over the years, most recently getting arrested for DUI and hit and run in May. Rest in peace Mac.

Grande moved on romantically with Saturday Night Live star and now fiance, Pete Davidson.

Ariana's manager, Scooter Braun, had this to say about the young man: "This was a good man with a great heart".

Funeral arrangements have yet to be announced, but Miller's loved ones have since released a statement about the tragedy.
