The battering Andrew Luck took as he played behind a porous offensive line has gotten all the attention as he has battled through shoulder rehab, but the Indianapolis Colts quarterback admits that he also hurt his shoulder doing something else - snowboarding.

They haven't won an opener since 2013, quarterback Andrew Luck's second season in the NFL.

It took less than a quarter of the first Sunday in the 2018 National Football League season for the initial ejection due to the new hit to the helmet rule.

Luck was adamant that the snowboarding injury didn't impact his rehab from the posterior labrum tear surgery, which is what kept him out for the 2017 season.

Dez Bryant explains why Patriots would be ideal landing spot
Dez Bryant doesn't play for any team at the moment, but that didn't stop him from winning on Sunday. Back in April, the Dallas Cowboys chose to part ways with veteran wide receiver Dez Bryant .

During his last full season on the field in 2016, Luck threw 20 touchdown passes and zero picks in the red zone, meaning the interception against the Bengals was Luck's first red zone pick since 2015.

"I don't snowboard anymore", Luck said. "The labrum is an issue". Colts' fans will be happy to hear that Luck has altogether abandoned snowboarding after the injury setback.

Luck, who celebrates his 29th birthday on Wednesday, said none of the doctors he's visited believe the AC strain affected his labrum recovery. I'll try to keep it in check, but I've also learned it's important to just let things go and let it happen.
