The Kern County Sheriff's Office says a husband and wife went into a trucking business and confronted a man inside.

Kern County Sheriff Donny Youngblood briefs reporters Wednesday after six people died in a string of consecutive shootings.

The man then ran from the scene, going to another nearby residence and fatally shooting two more people.

A deputy eventually confronted the suspect in a parking lot, at which point the gunman shot himself in the chest, Sheriff Youngblood said.

Bakersfield is a city of approximately 380,000 residents in southern California, about 100 miles north-northwest of Los Angeles.

After a short foot chase the gunman shot and killed him too.

The Youtuber relinquish his original theory and claimed that the Google will indeed release a notched Pixel 3 XL . Looking at the videos in question, the narrative simply mocks Google's design of the Pixel 3 XL.

"This is the new normal, if you look across the country", Youngblood said, describing the incident as a mass shooting.

It's not clear why the man went on the rampage, Youngblood said, but there may be a connection between the shooter and the victims. Thirty witnesses need to be interviewed, the sheriff said. "Obviously there's some type of situation that caused the husband to be completely upset", he said.

The suspect then carjacked a vehicle with a woman and child inside. The woman and child escaped and the man drove to a highway where a sheriff's deputy saw him, Youngblood said.

At least five crime scenes were being investigated as deputies worked to backtrack the shooter's footsteps.

The gunman's identity was not immediately released, and it was also not immediately known how he was related to the victims other than his wife.

The dead include five victims and a suspect, the sheriff told the Bakersfield Californian.
