Apple ditches dongles for older iPhones too

Unfortunately for the impatient among us, Apple won't actually start shipping any of its new devices until the end of next week (and even longer for the iPhone Xr), so the closest you're going to get to any of them (unless you were actually invited to the event in California) is a series of YouTube videos. Apple would have had a small impact on its profit margins by selling the iPhone X at a reduced price this year since the cost of the material probably would not have decreased significantly. The 6.5-inch iPhone looks unbelievable and one could be yours within days. But the iPhone XR, which also happens to be one of the main attractions this year, will not be available until late October, possibly due to both software and hardware issue, suggests a new report.
