The event is set for October 10.

Since the launch of the Razer Phone, the smartphone world has moved on to edge-to-edge displays with little to no bezels on the side. One of the primary reason is that the company is incorporating a bigger battery, most probably with 4,500mAh capacity. According to save-the-date invitations that were sent out by the media, the phone is slated to launch on 10 October 2018. While no exact specification details have been divulged, it is expected that the Razer Phone 2 will house a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC.

And yes, the display will have 120GHz refresh rate and is sure to thrill gaming enthusiasts.

AndroidHeadlines.com managed to get their hands on a press render from "a reliable source", and it appears that the Razer Phone 2 won't change that much when it comes to design, featuring the same square/boxy design, with large speakers at the top and bottom.

What will the new Razer Phone offer?

It also houses a dual 12MP main camera with F1.75 wide angle lens and 2x telephoto zoom and dual LED flash, an 8 MP front-snapper with F2.0 wide angle lens, and a 4,000 mAh battery with Quick Charge technology.

The Razer Phone was the first gaming-centric smartphone to grace the market, prompting other companies such as ASUS and Xiaomi to release gaming smartphones of their own.
