What looks like that same pager can be seen in the Captain Marvel trailer. Well thankfully, our waiting is over, and Brie Larson-Carol Danvers herself-released the first Captain Marvel trailer on Good Morning America. Set photos earlier this month showed our first proper look at Brie Larson in the titular role, whilst a digitally de-aged Samuel L. Jackson was shown, not to mention Jude Law as the alien Mar-Vell. When we first meet her, she's crash landing on Earth, right in the middle of a still-open Blockbuster. "It never occurred to me that one might come from above".

Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck (Mississippi Grind) directed the film, which centers on Carol - an Air Force pilot in the '90s who gains extraordinary powers after she's infused with Kree alien DNA.

Some familiar faces will return to "Captain Marvel", such as Clark Gregg's Agent Coulson and Jackson as Nick Fury. "I keep having these memories".

We see flashes of her intergalactic life as part of Starforce, and then how she comes to terms with a new life on Earth-which includes punching an old lady.

"OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD, THANOS IS SHAKING", said one person, alluding to Captain Marvel's planned appearance in next year's Avengers 4.

Captain Marvel hits theaters on March 8, 2019.
