If a user wishes, though, they can keep the two payments separate, although then they will end up paying £2.99 more per month overall.

This includes both Sky Box Sets (normally £5 per month) and Netflix Standard (normally £7.99 per month), so you're saving money, sort of. As well as the home screen recommendation tiles, there's a new On Demand pane that pulls together all ready-to-stream content (whether Sky's or Netflix's) all in one place, while the text-search tool now has a dedicated option for scanning the Netflix catalogue as well.

That's a significant saving over getting the two separately, and comes with the convenience of consolidating your bills into a single one handled by Sky.

The "Ultimate On Demand" subscription pack will bring together some 400 United Kingdom and US Sky Box Sets with the full Netflix service - allowing viewers to access Sky Originals like Tin Star, HBO content like Game of Thrones, and Netflix series like The Crown and Stranger Things.

T3 confirmed that even if you have the non-UHD Netflix integration into Sky Q, if you launch the system's dedicated Netflix app you can still stream Netflix content in 4K providing you have a Netflix Premium subscription.

Note: You will need to have an existing Sky Q Entertainment subscription (£20 per month).

Fans Pumped for Maroon 5 Super Bowl LIII Halftime Show
An NFL spokesperson refused to confirm or deny whether Maroon 5 will headline the Super Browl LIII halftime show. Who knows, perhaps Cardi B will join them for a guest appearance to perform the summer smash hit "I Like It, ".

Most UK Pay TV and ISPs that bundle Netflix tend to merely include the service as an app, which is sometimes offered alongside a temporary subscription discount for existing subscribers, although Virgin Media have recently been able to integrate it direct into their packages and billing (here).

The app is identical to the what you get on any other platform, but it's the integration that's the interesting part. Titles available to download can be watched on the go, with Sky shows available through the Sky Go app and Netflix shows through the Netflix app. Read our Sky Q review if you're not sure about making the jump.

Can I get Netflix on Sky+?

Netflix on Sky Q is, unsurprisingly, the excellent and easy to use Sky Q experience but now bolstered by Netflix's superb content suite.

Stephen van Rooyen, Chief Executive Officer, Sky UK and Ireland, said: "We want Sky Q to be the number one destination for TV fans".

For a long time it seemed that Netflix and Sky would be mortal enemies, forever battling for the hearts and minds of TV viewers across the UK.
