Violinist Balabhaskar's Daughter Dies in a Car Accident, Wife Injured

Renowned violinist-singer Balabhaskar and family met with a fatal auto accident on Tuesday morning at Pallipuram near Thiruvananthapuram. While the musician and his wife are now in a critical condition in a private hospital, their two-year-old daughter Tejaswi passed away, as per multiple preliminary reports.

According to Manorama News, the family was on the way back from Thrissur where they had gone to visit a temple. "The family was returning from Thrissur after visiting a temple". The singer's 2-years-old daughter, Tejaswini was killed and the couple has been hospitalised and is in the critical condition.

Their vehicle reportedly hit a tree as the driver had fallen asleep.

The police are reportedly investigating if the driver was dozed off.

She was declared dead soon after being rushed to a private hospital by a highway patrol unit.

Balabhaskar is a popular violinist and the musician enjoys a huge fan base. He started his career at the age of 12 and was the youngest composer who has worked in the Malayalam industry. He is well known for creating the fusion between the folk and south music.
