Apart from the first Test between India and Windies, not much has been happening in the world of cricket today.

Jadeja got a single off West Indies stand-in skipper Kraigg Brathwaite to get his hundred and celebrated with his customary sword dance with his bat.

Kohli (139) hit his 24th Test ton - taking him above Virender Sehwag and up to outright fourth on India's all-time list - while Jadeja (100no) struck his first as the hosts built on the debut hundred from teenager Prithvi Shaw on day one and recorded their highest Test score against Windies.

"Obviously after 9 years of global cricket I am scoring a hundred, so it is a special moment".

Kohli reached his 24th century in his 123rd innings, while Australia's Bradman took just 66 knocks to achieve the same feat.

Along the way, Shaw had also become the youngest Indian to score a half-century on Test debut.

'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' Star Chelsea Peretti to Exit During Season 6
Adding, "While it's sad to see a member of the family leave, we are so proud of Chelsea and excited for what she does next. Peretti continued and lifted parts from Emmy Rossum's post about her departure from " Shameless " to express how she felt.

West Indies then enjoyed their best period, claiming three wickets for 37 runs as India stumbled at 571 for eight. "The brisk rate at which he scores runs and his fearlessness", Raina told IANS.

Kohli, unbeaten overnight on 72, reached his landmark inside the second hour with a boundary to fine leg off Bishoo, and reached the break on 120.

Already set back by the loss of seasoned new-ball bowler Kemar Roach who returned to Barbados last week, due to the death of his grandmother, West Indies suffered yet another blow when captain Jason Holder was ruled out of the match with an ankle injury. The match is underway in Rajkot, Jadeja's home ground and the crowd goes insane watching Jadeja take on the bowlers in style. Shimron Hetmyer and Sunil Ambris were fighting for the same three yards of space even as Ravindra Jadeja skipped in to complete a run-out. A few overs later, Jadeja brings up India's 600 with a massive SIX over long-on.

Team India declared at 649 for 9 before the tourists suffered two early blows after Mohammed Shami removed their openers inside first five overs of the innings.

West Indies' key batsman Shai Hope gets beaten by outside edge and bowled off Ashwin's bowling.

"The way he played his shots is pure class".
