Mental illness will cost the world R240-trillion by 2030

On World Mental Health Day, mental health care providers point to the urgent need to address that fact that the onset age of depression and mental health disorders is coming down. Wednesday, 10 October will be World Mental Health Day, an annual event to raise awareness about issues around mental health around the world.

According to the World Health Organisation, 5.5 per cent of its population has depression. This Partnership would bring together allies from across the diverse global mental health community and beyond.
