"He graduated #1 in boot camp", she continued.

"I've had limited reach, but now with this it's a good opportunity to support a cause I really believe in".

His brother, Jon Hanson, also chimed in on Twitter Sunday night after noticing that his mom's tweet was going viral.

"I still love her". She just failed to consult her son on the matter first.

"It doesn't represent me at all", said Hanson, who is now a student at the University of Central Florida. His mother later deleted the tweet and her account under the username BlueStarNavyMom3, but not before the internet had its say.

The #HimToo hashtag took on a political life of its own during the Brett Kavanaugh confirmation drama as a backlash to the #MeToo movement, according to Wired magazine.

"That was my Mom", Pieter wrote in a tweet. The picture of Hanson in his old Navy uniform, resting one elbow on a bent knee, was accompanied by a caption claiming he was scared to go on "solo dates" because of false sexual assault allegations from "radical feminists".

Hanson added that Pieter - who is in fact straight, single, and open to solo dates - was "pissed" about being the subject of his mother's tweet.

Yankees-Red Sox Series Heats up AL East Race
The New York Yankees won the series, winning 8-1, losing 11-0, and winning 11-1 to make up some ground on their rivals. Despite sitting on top for much of the season, the Boston Red Sox are expected to lose steam as the season progresses.

Instead, Twitter users turned her post into a copypasta.

Even with knowing what you're getting into with your future mother-in-law, we bet there are still a lot of women who want to date Hanson now.

The group his mother espoused is created to publicize the belief that men are sometimes falsely accused of sexual misconduct and that accusers sometimes lie. He explained that his mother was well-meaning, but Pieter does not actively support anything to do with #HimToo.

"It doesn't represent me at all", Hanson told the Post.

'He was awarded the USO (United Service Organizations) award. He was #1 in Army school. "He is a gentleman who respects women", Oklahoma mum Marla Reynolds wrote in a since-deleted tweet. I'm a mixture of laughing hard and feeling bad for him. #HimToo originally began as a way for men to voice their experiences as victims of sexual assault or harassment alongside the #MeToo movement.

Speaking to the BBC about becoming internet famous, Pieter once again cleared up the confusion his mum wrought, saying: "I'm not afraid to go on dates!"

"My mom is lovely, I May be upset but I love her", he added.

"I'm trying to use this as an avenue to raise awareness for my little brother".
