A fifth of employees attended work suffering mental health issues past year

This year's theme of world mental health day is 'young people and mental health in the changing world.' The Health Minister further said that the Government of India has implemented the Mental Health Care Act 2017, w.e.f.

The Mental Health Foundation found that the average person in Britain says "I'm fine" at least 14 times a day, but any business or family can suddenly find a staff member or family member who is struggling.

"Take social media, I think we've now got enough evidence and research into the impact of social media on mental health", he said. "Traditionally, we have looked at the physical benefits of being active, but this is one of the first analyses to really explore different qualities of physical activity when considering mental wellbeing, and it's shown that it deserves more attention", said Grant Robertson.

Speaking at a reception to mark World Mental Health Day, Mrs May is expected to say: 'We can end the stigma that has forced too many to suffer in silence. "The challenges are to help people understand that it is an illness and there are medicines and treatment available".

Spending on children and young people's mental health, as a proportion of the overall mental health spend, is very low indeed, and we can not expect to meet all the need that there is when services are constantly challenged by austerity, making it harder and harder for children and young people to access help.

The project is important to Marc because it reminds young people that many others have had similar experiences with mental health issues.

Ms Doyle-Price, now minister for mental health, inequalities and suicide prevention, will ensure every local area has effective plans in place to stop unnecessary deaths and investigate how technology can help identify those most at risk.

According to the Asian American Journal of Psychology, Asian Americans have lower rates of using any type of mental health-related services than the general population.
