According to The Hollywood Reporter, Scarlett Johansson is set to earn a whopping $15 million to star as the Black Widow in an upcoming stand alone feature from Marvel Studios.

Regarding Scarlett Johansson being the highest paid actress, it's reported she made a whopping $40.5 million in pre-tax earnings between June 1, 2017 and June 1, 2018 thanks to her Marvel movies, The Avengers: Infinity War and The Avengers 4.

Following it learned she is the highest paid actress of 2018, it's learned Scarlett Johansson will get a massive pay out for the Marvel Studios Black Widow movie that is now in development. She was first a villain of Iron-Man, and worked for the Russians before defecting to the USA and joining the Avengers. Robert Downey Jr was paid $500,000 for 2008's Iron Man, the first film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Aaron Ramsey: Wales midfielder does not want early Arsenal exit
I am contracted to Arsenal and I am going to do my best now this season to try and achieve something special. He has started six of eight Premier League games under Unai Emery , contributing one goal and three assists.

Multiple sources confirmed the $15 million pay to THR, but a Marvel spokesperson denied it, saying, "Marvel Studios disputes the accuracy of these numbers, and as a matter of policy, we never publicly disclose salaries or deal terms". Also, random quick piece of trivia: all these actors added around $100 million to Avengers: Infinity War's budget - good thing that movie cracked $2 billion at the box office, right? But rumors for the hyper-secretive Avengers 4 are teasing an even greater threat than the Mad Titan. To everyone in front of the camera, behind the camera, and in the audience, thank you for the memories!

After that, Marvel will move into a new phase of storytelling - without, it seems, Evans as Captain America.

Congratulations, Scarlett Johansson, it only took you a handful of films, but you're finally able to say your MCU salary is on par with most of your Avengers brethren. Evans' Captain America has also made many brief cameo appearances in other Marvel movies.
