He acknowledged his team would have to deal with the constant media attention over the situation and whether Butler will be traded.

George, however, says he's backing the player.

Thunder guard Paul George told reporters Friday he spoke with Butler about what is happening in Minnesota and believes Butler has "a very valid point". "It's not coming from a place where he's going against an organization".

The Miami Heat have been heavily linked with Butler but a move still hasn't been rubber stamped.

Butler is set to earn $20.4 million this season and has a player option worth $19.8 million in 2019-20.

But he returned to training earlier this week and made his presence known. Thibodeau, along with GM Scott Layden and teammates Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins, was targeted during Butler's mid-practice tirade on Wednesday.

You're not playing around-none, whatsoever-and, you know what, I respect that. So I understand you have a job to do.

Speaking after the incident, Butler has admitted losing his cool. He doesn't want to be on the team anymore, there's drama between him and their other stars and if they don't trade him they'll end up losing him for nothing in free agency.

Thierry Henry is confirmed as the new coach of Monaco
A statement on the club's website read, " AS Monaco announces the appointment of Thierry Henry as coach of the professional team". The Frenchman was confirmed as Leonardo Jardim's replacement on Saturday morning after days of negotiations with his former club.

"I didn't go at those two". He can be disruptive, but I don't know if he actually had the clout to come out and do that.

All along, it seemed the best plan of action for the Timberwolves was to find the best deal they could in the quickest amount of time and ship Butler out of town.

I felt like it was a normal practice, but it was new for guys. You can get beat.

"I'm a competitor, I'm in here talking, come at me". You're gonna lose some games.

"I'm not going to get into all that stuff".

"Am I being tough on him?" Bird rights allow for a team to exceed the salary cap to re-sign a player. Wigs. Wigs got the longest arms, the biggest hands, can jump the highest, can run the fastest.

"Jimmy doesn't have anything to do with how hard we play out there". Man, I was a damn Tasmanian devil. That's how I give to you guys. "I don't know if Jimmy has enough juice to be that".

"Jimmy's a guy, his whole career, he made it into the league off work, off him having to grind and scratch and claw to get to where he's at", George added.
