Prince Harry and Meghan arrive in Australia for royal tour

Time will only tell as the royal couple are set to leave for Australia on Tuesday, 16 October.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived at Sydney Airport at about 7am on Monday morning on a Qantas flight from London.

The royal couple arrived in Sydney at 6.04am on a British Airways flight in a low-key arrival for the first of their 76 engagements across Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand to begin on Tuesday.

Another royal wedding, another public display of affection from Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

In New Zealand, Harry and Meghan will tour the capital Wellington and visit Auckland and then Rotorua, which is famed for its Maori culture, and then head to Abel Tasman National Park in the South Island.

MEGHAN Markle is jetting off on her royal tour this week, and is said to be bringing along best friend Jessica Mulroney. It looks like Meghan and Harry's touchy-feely vibes were contagious, because Prince William and Kate Middleton (who were sitting next to them) also had a rare PDA moment: They were photographed holding hands in the pews.

The Duke and Duchess are in Australia for the Invictus Games, which starts on Saturday in Sydney, but they will also be visiting Melbourne, Dubbo, and Fraser Island.

Harry and Meghan's sojourn in the southern hemisphere will be more brief but will see the couple retracing parts of the path once trod by his father and mother.

The tour coincides with the Invictus Games in Sydney, which run from October 20 to October 28.

Among other highlights will be a visit to the world-famous Taronga Zoo where the pair will be able to meet two koalas and their joeys.

Australia is preparing to welcome Prince Harry and his new bride Meghan Markle just days after Princess Eugenie tied the knot in a lavish ceremony.
