The largest Mega Millions jackpot ever was $656 million, hit March 30, 2012 and split among winners in Kansas, Illinois and Maryland.

The jackpot has been growing since July, and this is now the second largest jackpot in the history of the lottery game. Powerball officials announced that Wednesday's jackpot reached $345 million.

No one won the drawing Saturday night, so the jackpot is now at an estimated $354 million.

The last time Mega Millions was this big, it was only worth $2 million more.

The $654 million jackpot is the second-largest jackpot in Mega Millions history and the fourth-largest jackpot in US lottery history.

The Giants Have Reportedly Decided On Whether They’ll Bench Eli Manning
Without Beckham on the field, Eli Manning ended up throwing a short pass to Sterling Shepard that went for 20 yards. La Canfora also adds that a growing frustration is simmering within the locker room because of Manning's poor play.

The Mega Millions and Powerball jackpots combined are just short of $1 billion ahead of this week's lottery drawings.

Burdess and Vandiver had all five white ball numbers (4, 24, 46, 61 and 70), and only lacked having the Megaball number of 7 or they would have won the $548 million jackpot.

The cash option on the Mega Millions prize is an estimated $372.6 million, while the cash option on the Powerball prize is an estimated $199 million.

The lucky employees were from Kaiser Permanente in Aurora and won the lower-tier prize as part of the drawing on October 9. "Jackpot fever is definitely sweeping the country!"
