Elizabeth Warren’s DNA claim inflames some Native Americans

On Monday Trump claimed that he "didn't say" that he would pay $1 million to Democratic Sen.

Warren's decision to share the DNA results is an unprecedented move by an American politician, and sets her apart from both Hillary Clinton - who resisted releasing personal information - and Trump, who continues to refuse to release his tax returns.

Warren has always been ridiculed by President Donald Trump for claiming Native American ancestry, with Trump dubbing her "Pocahontas" and accusing her of claiming minority status for personal and career gain.

Again, it's not Trump she'll have to battle.

Trump gleefully incorporated the statement into his tweets at the MA senator, saying on Tuesday: "Now Cherokee Nation denies her, 'DNA test is useless.' Even they don't want her. Phony!"

"It makes a mockery out of DNA tests and its legitimate uses while also dishonoring legitimate tribal governments and their citizens, whose ancestors are well documented and whose heritage is proven", he said.

The Bureau of Indian Affairs discourages the use of DNA tests in trying to prove ancestry from a specific federally recognized tribe - something Warren said she was not attempting to do. Elizabeth Warren's efforts to prove she is part Native American.

She said she respects that distinction and doesn't list herself as Native American in the Senate.

She took the DNA test President Donald Trump urged, and he mocked her for it.

Yankees-Red Sox Series Heats up AL East Race
The New York Yankees won the series, winning 8-1, losing 11-0, and winning 11-1 to make up some ground on their rivals. Despite sitting on top for much of the season, the Boston Red Sox are expected to lose steam as the season progresses.

Warren hit back at Trump, calling those comments "creepy". "I think I can beat her". So since Sen. Warren is.09 percent American Indian, she may now be eligible to own.09 percent of a casino.

Posts by Native Americans in social media reflect a weariness at having to repeatedly remind non-Natives that being Native is not exclusively about bloodlines but belonging to tribal communities.

Tucker Carlson said Tuesday that the "frenzy to oppose all that Trump endorses" led Democrats to "tar" Justice Brett Kavanaugh as a racist and make other untimely decisions.

Warren promptly tweeted her charity of choice: The National Indigenous Women's Resource Center.

Even Linskey conceded that Warren was going "pretty far back" to corroborate her Native claims. The analysis showed "strong evidence" Warren had a Native American ancestor dating back six to 10 generations.

"That will not be something I enjoy doing either", he added.

At which point you can keep the trick going ("I see it in your profile..."), or chalk them up to being another member of the Wannabe tribe. "You heard them right", the host said.

The president continued to slam the results of Warren's test Tuesday as "a scam and a lie" and cast the percentage of Native American heritage insignificant. Elizabeth Warren went on the Twitter warpath yesterday - and they aren't likely to bury the hatchet anytime soon, political observers say, as each has a lot of gain from their sparring going into the 2020 race.
