Apple to launch iPad and lower-cost MacBook on October 30

The Apple event invite says "There's more in the making". The new Mac Mini and heavily delayed AirPower charger might also make an appearance at the event. The show will will kick off at 10am ET and as the numerous different invites sent to the media, including Pocket-lint, point out, will focus on creativity.

It's hard to remain unphased with Apple's traditinioally unpredictable event announcements.Merely a month or so after the big September event that gave us three new iPhones and a new Apple Watch, Apple yesterday announced that it will indeed be hosting another event on October 30 in Brooklyn, New York. In addition, it is also rumoured that the tablet will be the first of its kind to switch over from Apple's proprietary Lightning port to the universal USB Type-C port. The event will be held at 12:00 and will be dedicated to the presentation of the new iPad Pro and Mac, as well as other possible surprises.
