Microsoft teased on Twitter that it will have some big news around PUBG at its X018 keynote event in Mexico City on November 10 - potentially a new map or game mode.

The battle royale game PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has received a number of indicators that the now Xbox and PC exclusive title may be headed to the PS4 soon.

According to information received by Eurogamer, PlayerUnkown's still-popular-but-not-quite-as-popular-as-it-once-was battle royale juggernaut will release on Sony's market-leading console this December. "It's in my PS4 Game Database", the user's comment said.

"Don't know when it's coming out, but it's already on Sony servers, hosting the game image and Content-ID for the PSN store", the PSNProfiles member added, with two individual content IDs for North America and the US. ResetEra admin and game industry analyst at Niko Partners Daniel Ahmad seemed to corroborate the news, suggesting that the game will be out on PS4 next month. One of those can be seen above, an image not unlike the other promotional pieces for PUBG.

Ford said three of the students, each seniors, planned and executed the incident while a fourth student, a junior, apparently went along with the incident "at the last minute".

The full release on Xbox One also carried the label "console launch exclusive", which further points to a release on PS4 at some point.

And finally, in terms of PUBG, the game's inaugural esports season has been announced for this January.

Do you think PUBG is coming to PS4? In between, PUBG Mobile was released on Android and iOS.
