In this case, the user has no option but to ignore the message and wait for the fix. But don't panic, your license is still good.

This may explain why it's now sitting on a very middling 2.9 rating on the Microsoft Store.

Around 5 p.m. ET, I started hearing reports from users on Twitter that their activation issues seemed to be resolved.

The activation glitch is the latest in a string of issues affecting Microsoft's operating system, including file-deleting bugs which have seen the Windows 10 October 2018 Update pulled and its re-release delayed seemingly indefinitely - bad news for owners of Nvidia's shiny new GeForce RTX graphics cards, which rely on the DirectX Raytracing functionality included in the October 2018 Update to unlock the full functionality of their new GPUs. This happens in Japan, Korea, American and many other countries.I am very sorry to inform you that there is a temporary issue with Microsoft's activation server at the moment and some customers might experience this issue where Windows is displayed as not activated.

"Try going to Settings Update & security Activation, and then select Troubleshoot to run the Activation Troubleshooter and seeing if this gets you activated", LeBlanc said.

Professor McGonagall: The New 'Fantastic Beasts' Film Has Weird Casting
On November 1, representatives from Warner Bros. and The Today Show arrived at Parkside to participate in Wizarding World Day. After appearing right at the very end of the first film, Johnny Depp returns for a much larger role as Gellert Grindelwald .

In an updated advisory, Microsoft writes under the Windows 10 known issues:After installing this update, some users can not set Win32 program defaults for certain app and file type combinations using the Open with... command or Settings Apps Default apps. If it doesn't resolve the problem for you, the company will issue a fix later in November. And for some users, that's all it takes to get the license squared away. They were being prompted that the existing license is for Windows 10 Home and that a Pro license can be ordered from the Store.

Most Windows 10 Mobile handsets went out of support in October 2018, which may explain why Microsoft is clearly no longer testing their software on these handsets.

And you're not alone in this annoyance.
