Via multiple reports, Bryant and the New Orleans Saints have agreed to a one-year deal that lands the three-time Pro Bowler in New Orleans for the rest of the season.

The NFL Network first reported that the Saints are scheduled to audition the former Dallas Cowboys star along with veteran receivers Brandon Marshall and Kamar Aiken.

It's unclear what the Saints are looking for in a workout with wide receivers. The 25-year-old finished with 12 catches, a franchise-best 211 yards and a touchdown in New Orleans' 45-35 win over the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.

That may be what the Saints are thinking-that given the rest of the regular season to get the game of the offense, Bryant can really help things move in the playoffs.

The Saints have one of the top pass catchers in the game in Michael Thomas, but have struggled to find a reliable second receiver after placing Ted Ginn on injured reserve.

Bryant, of course, has been out of work since the Dallas Cowboys released him last April. However, the Cowboys did trade for Oakland Raiders wide receiver during their bye week this season.

The 30-year-old Bryant spent his first eight years in the National Football League with Dallas and last season caught 69 passes for 838 yards and six touchdowns, including a 50-yard scoring play, for the Cowboys.
