Celebrities, including Caitlyn Jenner, forced out as U.S. wildfires affect 90000 homes

Her stepdaughter, Kim Kardashian West, the resident of an upscale neighborhood in Calabasas, where she lives with her husband, Kanye West, rushed to her home in Hidden Hills to gather her belongings and evacuate.

On Thursday evening, Kardashian shared aerial footage of the blaze, writing "Pray for Calabasas". We previously posted on Kim and Kanye who had one hour to evacuate their home and new reports from TMZ detail how they did so right on time since flames are inching closer to their property.

The 39-year-old posted a photo on her Instagram stories of her vehicle trunk packed with bags, captioning the post, "I pray that everyone is kept safe and protected from these fires".

Kim Kardashian West along with thousands of others were forced to evacuate their homes due to the Woolsey Fire that is ravaging Los Angeles County.

She said, "Pray for Calabasas".

"I pray that everyone is kept safe and protected from these fires.

God is good. I'm just praying everyone is safe", she tweeted out around 2pm PST.

I just had to evacuate my home from the fires.

"My House has been evacuated due to nearby fires in Thousand Oaks".

Kim wasn't the only one in the famous family forced to evacuate.

Kardashian documented the Woolsey fire on Instagram as she arrived via private jet. "I've had a house in Malibu since 1972", she wrote on Twitter.

Movie director Guillermo del Toro tweeted that he had abandoned his vast "Bleak House" museum collection of fantasy and horror memorabilia. "Saying prayers and thanking all of the courageous firefighters who risk their lives for us".

"Bleak House and the collection may be endangered but the gift of life remains", tweeted del Toro, director of Oscar best picture victor The Shape of Water.

The second-largest fire, the Hill Fire, also prompted evacuations after it charred around 10,000 acres in Ventura County through Thursday afternoon.
