As the name of the move suggests, the movie is based around Pokemon's most recognisable figure, Pikachu.

Pokemon: Detective Pikachu is set to release in theaters on Friday, May 10th, 2019.

The first official trailer for the upcoming Pokémon Detective Pikachu movie has officially arrived, giving us our very first look at the film in action.

Apple Canada announces iPhone X display replacement program
Any non-Touch Bar 13-inch MacBook Pro sold between June 2017 and June 2018 might have a problem with the hard drive. The 13-inch MacBook Pro seems to be affected by the same quality problems discovered with the iPhone X as well.

With Ryan Reynolds starring as Pikachu, Justice Smith playing Tim Goodman, and other stars such as Kathryn Newton and Ken Watanabe joining the cast too, this strikes us as having a great deal of potential.

It looks like the Pokemon will do the catching this time around.

After getting over the initial "Oh, my God - you can understand me?" and "Oh, my God - you're a talking Pikachu!" reactions, the two embark on a journey to find and save Tim's father. Its initial release is scheduled for May 10, 2019. Throughout the trailer, which you can see below, you'll spot the likes of Charizard, Mr. Mime, Jigglypuff, Psyduck, and many more. He gets help from his dad's former Pokémon partner, Detective Pikachu: a hilariously wise-cracking super-sleuth. Of course, Detective Pikachu is somewhat unique because of his ability to speak a language humans can communicate in, and when he and Tim first meet, the mouse's speech is cause for understandable alarm.
