We expected that the first smartphones with "leaky" displays should appear in 2019, but Huawei will release this device after a couple of weeks.

We've already seen what the Nova 4 looks like in a recent leak, though the phone was partially obscured by a case. What's interesting about this launch is that the smartphone will bring a new solution to the notch.

From the launch poster, as well as previous reports, it is believed that Samsung would maintain a flat screen with Infinity-O, that replaces the notched displays seen on many flagships. The front camera within the display hole at the top left corner is expected to be a 24-megapixel sensor.

Samsung shared a poster on Weibo that confirmed the launch of Galaxy A8s smartphone on December 10.

New Nokia 8.1 with Snapdragon 710 SoC & 20MP Selfie Camera Launched
This is an Android One phone now running Pie, but it will receive OS updates for 2 years and security updates for 3 years. We expect the India price to be a little more aggressive, so you can expect it to fall under Rs 30,000.

Huawei had announced yesterday that the Huawei Nova 4 will become official on December 17, a week after the Galaxy A8s arrives, it seems. Based on the new user interface, the relevant content can be kept at the bottom half of the display, which can leave the top half for viewing tasks.

In another similar instance, previously Samsung had teased its foldable smartphone, but came second in that race as a relatively unknown Chinese company, Royole, stole Samsung's thunder by revealing a commercial foldable smartphone before. The Nova 3i, on the other hand, features a 6.3-inch screen of FHD+ resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 409 ppi. Those three cameras will be included on the left side of the phone's back, and will be vertically aligned. To capture selfies and to make video calls the device will use a 24MP camera up front. The phone is said to ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack as well. Inside the chassis, the Galaxy A8s could boast either a Snapdragon 710 SoC or a Snapdragon 660 AIE processor.

The device will run on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system and be backed by a 3400mAh battery.
