The Golden Globes are given out by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and honor the best in television and movies.

A month before the 2019 Golden Globes and a day before nominations are announced, "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" star Andy Samberg and "Killing Eve"'s Sandra Oh have been named co-hosts for the January 6 ceremony.

"They bring wit, charm and style to a room filled with the very best of film and television", the executives said. "It's sure to be another unforgettable fun-filled night", co-chairmen of NBC Entertainment Paul Telegdy and George Cheeks said in a statement.

The Globes are actually right around the corner. Samberg, meanwhile, is a two-time Golden Globe victor for his work on Brooklyn Nine-Nine, taking home statuettes in both the acting and producing categories. The news comes a day after Kevin Hart was tapped to host the 91st Oscars, in a time when awards show ratings are down across the board.
