Brighton swat aside Crystal Palace despite playing an hour with 10 men

Roy Hodgson's side were 1-0 down when Brighton's Shane Duffy was sent off after 28 minutes and then contrived to lose the rest of the match 2-1 against 10 men.

Luka Milivojevic pulled one back in the second half for Palace, but that must have been little consolation for such a decisive defeat.

Brighton showed great character in responding to conceding a first-minute goal at 10-man Huddersfield Town on Saturday by going on to win 2-1.

With barely 25 seconds on the pitch, Balogun's screamer is now rated as the second fastest goal scored by a substitute this season in the Premier League.

Murray scored a penalty in Tuesday night's 3-1 win over Crystal Palace, before being forced out after 35 minutes.
