Former Oakland University Star Kay Felder Arrested For Allegedly Choking A Woman

Free-agent point guard Kay Felder has been waived by Raptors 905 of the National Basketball Association G-League after he was charged in connection with a domestic violence allegation, the team announced in a news release.

Felder allegedly choked a longtime female acquaintance following an argument during dinner, according to TMZ Sports.

Felder, 23, was arrested near Toronto early Monday morning after a reported physical altercation with a woman he has known for years, TMZ reported. The victim had enough time to call a family member, who then called the police.

While there was no official word on the costs involved, we would confidently predict it to be a number with LOTS of zeros in it. Aston Martin hasn't made any specifications available just yet, but more information should come out in the near future.

National Basketball Association point guard Kay Felder has been arrested for assaulting and choking a woman according to TMZ. The Cavs traded Felder to the Atlanta Hawks in a cap-clearing move in October 2017, and he was subsequently waived.

Raptors 905 said it will not make further comment as the matter is before the courts. He's now released from custody but is due back in court later this month.

Felder appeared in 11 games with Raptors 905 and averaged 18.1 points per game.

Selected with the 54th overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, Felder spent his rookie season with the Cleveland Cavaliers and his second season with both the Chicago Bulls and Detroit Pistons before signing with Toronto in August.
