Golden Knights' Ryan Reaves KO's Capitals' Tom Wilson

On Tuesday night in Las Vegas, Wilson was on the receiving end of a crunching, blindside hit from the Golden Knights' Ryan Reaves that injured Wilson when the Capitals winger hit his head on the ice.

"We talked about it on the way in", said Caps coach Todd Reirden after Monday's practice. He scored the goal on his former team, the same guys that beat Vegas for the Stanley Cup last season. "I thought he was just looking at his pass, and he ran into a lion in the jungle", said Reaves, who added he didn't believe the hit was ejection-worthy. You had the lead changes, you had swings, you had them buzzing and we were going.

The Anaheim Ducks scored five unanswered goals in the last 26 minutes of the game to beat Washington 6-5 on Sunday, dealing the Capitals their first loss since November 14.

Washington lost 6-5 Sunday at home versus Anaheim as its seven-game winning streak came to a halt.

"I think we all seen the hit and video, it's a clean hit, there's nothing wrong with the hit". "I think this is a cool place to win the Cup in".

Epic Games Store is live and promises free games every fortnight
Instead of taking a 30% cut (something Steam initially takes), the Epic Store takes 12%, a far more appealing deal. Up first is underwater exploration title Subnautica , which will be available at no charge from December 14.

Wilson recently returned from a 14-game suspension he received due to an illegal hit he delivered in the preseason.

But the Golden Knights dominated down the stretch. But Vegas is actually getting more production from its second unit, a newly cobbled threesome of Max Pacioretty, Cody Eakin and Alex Tuch.

Thus far in 2018-19, the Karlsson line has accumulated 23 goals while all three of its members are skating over 19 minutes a night. The Fortress has never been louder than it was following the Eakin go-ahead goal. Wilson was ejected from the game, but somehow did not receive supplemental discipline or even get a hearing with the Department of Player Safety. However, I'm not sure that many can side with Reirden based on Tuesday's hit, and Wilson's history.

With Nate Schmidt back in the Vegas lineup after an early season suspension, the Knights' defense is at full strength now, too. Vegas trails the division leaders Calgary Flames by five points and have the joint-best eighth record in the Western Conference. "It looked like he took a peek, and if he sees me I know he's going to try to lay me out, and I'm not going to let that happen". He is 1-1-0 in two career regular season starts against Vegas, with a 2.50 GAA and a.915 save pct. They were coming off two games in which they came out 1-1, scoring 13 goals in the process.

The Golden Knights announced the move today, making roster space by assigning forward Daniel Carr to the AHL.
