The Scala is the first Skoda model to get dynamic rear turn indicators (optional), and it works by flashing outwards in a sweeping motion. Heavily influenced by the VISION RS study unveiled at the recent Paris Motor Show there are straight design lines that show they mean it when they say it's a forerunner of fairly radical new looks for the Czech maker. Depending on the model, the Scala rides on wheels measuring between 15 and 18 inches in diameter.

Skoda's now-trademark hexagon grille appears on the all-new Scala, with an extended gloss black panel appearing at the rear to give an impression of a longer rear window.

Dimensions-wise, the Scala boasts an overall length of 4,362 mm, width of 1,793 mm, height of 1,471 mm and a healthy 2,649 mm wheelbase.
