But I'd also like to think that this an opportunity for serious conversation about mental health and sports because Gordon might be a victim of both.

In a post on Twitter on Thursday, Gordon said he was going to focus on his mental health.

He went on to express gratitude to Bill Belichick, Robert Kraft, and the rest of the Patriots organization for supporting him. "I enjoyed getting to know him in that process and I'll continue to support him in any way I can".

A Patriots statement read: "We support Josh Gordon in his continued efforts to focus on his health. His attempt to do so is a private and personal matter, which we intend to respect", the Patriots said in a statement.

Gordon was available to the Patriots because the Cleveland Browns ran out of patience with him earlier this season.

Danish Zehen's followers increase on social media post his tragic demise
YouTube star Danish Zehen passed away on December 20th after succumbing to an accident on the Sion-Panvel Highway in Navi Mumbai . Thousands of fans went to Zehen's old residence in Kurla following his death, the Mumbai Mirror reported.

Gordon's 720 yards lead the Patriots in receiving and his 68 targets are third on the team behind only James White and Julian Edelman.

But he had just one catch for 19 yards in last week's loss to the Steelers, four days before he announced his latest break from football. Brady was asked if he's reached out to Gordon since Thursday's news, but Brady opted not to answer. From 2013, when he led the National Football League in receiving yards, through 2017 he played in only 10 games with the Browns due to multiple suspensions. New England will need to win out and get some help in order to secure a first-round bye or the Patriots will be playing on Wild Card Weekend for the first time since 2009 when they were dusted by the Baltimore Ravens.

In the coming days and possibly weeks, the story of whether or not Gordon is, in fact, facing a drug suspension will unfold. "For better or worse, he's been in a lot of different systems". Gronkowski said Gordon was a great teammate who will be missed. "The atmosphere is very welcoming".

Gordon first mentioned stepping away from the National Football League in order to focus on his mental health this summer.
