Bowsette is dead in the water as Nintendo confirms she isn't canon

Don't expect to see Bowsette in any upcoming Nintendo properties. Others added to the Bowsette trend by creating different character crossovers examples using the Super Crown, and the possibilities the item offered made for a fun concept to play with overall. U Deluxe called the Super Crown, which turns Toadette into Peachette, who looks nearly exactly like Princess Peach except with a Toadette aesthetic spin. The description inexplicably apologizes to Luigi, which is a whole new layer of trolling Bowsette fans. The possibilities really would be endless. U Deluxe, only Toadette can wear the Super Crown (via ResetEra), making all imaginings of other characters wearing the Super Crown officially not approved by Nintendo.

Before you rush off to Google or sketch "Luigette" in response to Nintendo's dig at its perpetual stooge, consider how quickly Bowsette took hold on social media, got her own Wikipedia page, and spread like wildfire among the most creative (and/or horny) Super Mario fans. Bowsette is forever non-canonical, probably due to the amount of X-rated art freely available whenever you do a search for her. Shoulda kept it clean.
