Both gaming notebooks combine new, functional designs with powerful internals that rival gaming desktops.

Special attention has been given to the Predator Triton 900 due to its one-of-a-kind flipping screen.

It looks like Acer was waiting for Nvidia Turing graphics to make their way to laptops, as we finally have the specs. "With breakthrough technologies including real time ray tracing and next-gen, and ultra-fast GDDR6 memory, gamers can confidently choose the Predator Triton 900 for a robust, feature-rich gaming platform". Though the Triton 500 may not have the unique design of the 900, it still sounds like it's going to pack quite a punch despite its relatively slim build.

Back then, the Triton 900 was behind a glass and not all of its specs were known, but now, at the CES show in Las Vegas, Acer has revealed all the details, including the (hefty) price. The Predator Triton 900 is easily adjusted to be a tablet or a traditional laptop. The trackpad is placed to the side of the keyboard, instead of beneath it, for more natural hand placement, and it appears it can also be used as a number pad. It's also amazingly thin at just 23.75 mm (0.94 inches).

Resident Evil 2 demo coming Thursday, on a timer
And if you prefer Resident Evil 2 digitally, it's Rs. 3,380 for the Xbox One, Rs. 3,375 on PS4, and Rs. 2,999 for PC via Steam. Even if you exit and restart it, the Resident Evil 2 demo will remember how much time you've spent in game.

The Predator Triton 900 sports a 17-inch 4K display and is powered by Intel 8th Generation Core i7 processor with 6 cores, along with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 GPU. To round out the package, it features audio by Waves. The utilized metal chassis is also just 17.9 mm thick and it weighs 1.9 kg. And with up to 8-hours of battery life, users can play their favorite titles on the road or with friends away from home. It can be upgraded to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 GPUs which can be overclocked for some VR-Ready games.

If you are looking for something smaller, the Triton 500 has a 15.6 in 1920x1080 IPS display that can run up to 144 Hz, and those models with the RTX 2080 Max-Q have support for G-Sync too.

One of the most interesting feature of these laptops is that they can be controlled with a smartphone with the company's PredatorSense mobile app. Overclocking, fan speeds, lighting, and audio modes will all be under the control of this app and macros can also be viewed and set for physical hotkeys.
