The Resident Evil 2 1-Shot Demo goes live on all platforms January 11. And if you prefer Resident Evil 2 digitally, it's Rs. 3,380 for the Xbox One, Rs. 3,375 on PS4, and Rs. 2,999 for PC via Steam.

Capcom assures players that the demo can be completed in the allotted time limit, but it will require efficient use of weapons, items and movement if the young R.P.D. officer is to escape his new workplace, now freshly populated with legions of the undead.

Back in December of past year, a listing for the Resident Evil 2 "One-Shot" demo was spotted on the Xbox store, and it was tagged with a release date of the 11th January - that's this Friday. I'm not sure how this limitation may be affected by uninstalling and reinstalling or simply switching user accounts, but the idea is to give you a 30 minute teaser and leave it at that. Capcom says you'll have a certain mission objective to complete and you're free to start the demo over again if you accomplish it or die horribly. The Resident Evil 2 demo is set in the iconic Raccoon City Police Station and has players in the role of one of the series' protagonist, Leon S. Kennedy. He must survive the zombie hordes while finding a way out of the station. However, once the time is up, so will be the demo.

Woman dies after becoming stuck inside clothing bin, police say
Jeremy Hunka of Union Gospel Mission in Vancouver said the numerous deaths, five of which took place in B.C., are unacceptable. On New Year's Eve, a 34-year-old man was discovered lodged in a clothing bin in West Vancouver by an off-duty doctor.

Even if you exit and restart it, the Resident Evil 2 demo will remember how much time you've spent in game.

Aside from being available in a standard edition which comes with a disc and little else, Capcom will also release the Resident Evil 2 Steelbook Edition for PS4 and Xbox One in India.
