Ramsey might have been convinced to move to Spain had Barcelona shown any interest - with his boyhood dream to play for the Catalans - but they never pursued him after preliminary talks.

However, Ramsey's destination could have been very different, with BBC Sport reporting that Bale encouraged his Wales teammate to link up with him at the Bernabeu. Ramsey's Arsenal contract ends in June this year which enabled Juventus to sign him on a pre-contract agreement.

He will complete the campaign with Arsenal prior to leaving as a free agent in the summer. Ramsey will be the club's second highest paid player after Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo (€ 31 million per year).

However, according to Sky in Italy, terms have now been agreed between the two parties and Juventus will finalise the transfer during the middle of next week.

Ultimately Arsenal were not prepared to meet his salary demands, with some among the hierarchy regretting the new deal given to Mesut Ozil a year ago, worth £350,000 per week, and determined to avoid a repeat.

Kyler Murray To Declare For NFL Draft, Leanings Towards Football
If the Cardinals don't take him, there's still likely several teams in the first round that would use a pick on him. The Chronicle story says Murray is expected to declare for the NFL Draft on Sunday.

Ramsey signed for Arsenal from Cardiff for £4.8m.

Chelsea's policy is to never sell when a player's perceived value is low, so instead they organise a loan first.

The Juventus manager, Max Allegri, and director Fabio Paratici are huge admirers of the Welshman, who will be expected to be given a place in the Juventus starting XI, most likely playing with Miralem Pjanic and Blaise Matuidi in a three-man midfield.

"My idea and focus, I say to him every day, is that we need his performance for us", said Emery. I asked in the last match at Blackpool if he is OK to help us play and he said, "Yeah, coach, I want to play" and he played with a very big behaviour and commitment to us.
